I have the same problem, only mine is after a few month. They pressure tested and everything, and found nothing....
|
Probably your head. Buddy that came down to get tuned was having the same problem, eventually they came up with head, switched and I believe it ceased.
Unless your head is lifting under boost, which you could see it stain the block/head. |
Any white smoke (not condensation) coming from the exhaust?
When a headgasket goes, it can leak coolant into the combustion chamber instead of the oil, which obviously will make the oil appear normal. |

If no smoke then prob def what I said. Ask them about a porous head, if you still have warranty, lol.

Mine was leaking from here once. One of the washers wasn't in place. Never found any coolant because it only leaked under pressure and burnt off while driving.

Well you dont wanna go to a dealership if u don't have warranty, I'm not saying it's 100% your problem but buddies car had the same symptoms. Porous as the inside of the head is jacked up lol IDK how to explain it but some of the lnf heads have the same problem I believe.
The quickest way of telling is to look at the coolant tank. As mentioned before if a head has gone porous, then water and oil mix. This produces a brown sludge like substance, similar to curry in the coolant tank . Its most obvious of the coolant cap as you take it off as the pressure builds up in the tank and leaves a residue on the inside of the cap. But that could also mean the head gasket as gone as well. What ever the reason, if you find the brown sludge in the coolant tank, its bad (expensive) news. |
u ever change ur header ?

I had the same problem, had to replace the heat exchanger pump. I guess the the coolant wasnt pumping through the heat exchanger and boiling out the overflow.
|
this has been going on in my car. i seen the sludge coming from the head but i figured they were just from the mechanics. i have to get this fixed its getting on my nerves. i hate filling my tank every 5-7 days. thanks for all the info guys.

he is talking about the engine coolant not the heat exchanger coolant. They are 2 seperate systems . |
