I didn't know LSJ turbos had bypass actuators and whined. Learnt somethin today.

Ive had a cobalt ss for a few years now but am new to cobaltss.net. looking forward to learning stuff about different builds and figured this thread would be good to start on because I myself am looking into building a turbo kit for my LSJ. I am running a 1320 TVS rite now with 21psi and only 320whp. very fun car don't get me wrong but am tired of the HP restrictions of a supercharger.

That's twice the boost I'm making at 6000' ASL with my little M62. Now that my bottom end and head are ready for more HP I'm contemplating putting the M62 back on.

turbos have power restrictions as well...

Individual turbos do, sure. But there are near limitless options for the size of turbo you could put on this car and effectively run. It's a different story for superchargers.

true, there are only a few superchargers. lots of different turbo sizes.

Has anyone ran an LSJ-T WITHOUT the LSD trans? If so how's grip? im on the edge of either turbo swapping or straight up selling my balt on that issue. I DID have LSD when new, but naturally the clown i got it from blew it and put in the cheaper open dif F35
