It's actually a very common issue you are having. Rather than give you a quick generic answer just use the search on here or type in to google. You'll find what you need.

Your post pretty much answered your question.

Ive had a cobalt ss for a few years now but am new to cobaltss.net. looking forward to learning stuff about different builds and figured this thread would be good to start on because I myself am looking into building a turbo kit for my LSJ. I am running a 1320 TVS rite now with 21psi and only 320whp. very fun car don't get me wrong but am tired of the HP restrictions of a supercharger.

Henry3959 01-12-2018 11:27 PM

That's twice the boost I'm making at 6000' ASL with my little M62. Now that my bottom end and head are ready for more HP I'm contemplating putting the M62 back on.

Individual turbos do, sure. But there are near limitless options for the size of turbo you could put on this car and effectively run. It's a different story for superchargers.

I am

PutinsMixtape 11-25-2021 03:54 PM

Has anyone ran an LSJ-T WITHOUT the LSD trans? If so how's grip? im on the edge of either turbo swapping or straight up selling my balt on that issue. I DID have LSD when new, but naturally the clown i got it from blew it and put in the cheaper open dif F35

USMCFieldMP 11-30-2021 09:43 AM

It's fine without an LSD. Your tires are more important.
