Thumbs up The Official TVS Dyno and 1/4 Mile Thread!!!!!

So I was browsing through the other dyno and 1/4 mile threads the other day and I thought it'd be a cool idea to have a thread for just the TVS. This would also be a really good referrance tool because a lot of people have the same questions about the TVS. Stuff like "what will x,y,z setup get me" and "what will it run?". Also let's keep the whoring to a minimum guys. Let's try to keep it to technical questions and TVS-related things.

In order to have 1/4 mile times posted here I need AT LEAST 2 slips from the same day.

And for the dyno I need AT LEAST a graph from that day. A video also couldn't hurt.

This will be setup basically like the dyno and 1/4 mile thread are.

So... POST EM!!!!!!!!!

DYNO

Sounds good!!

If you guys have posted in the existing 1/4 mile or Dyno thread on here, you don't have to send me anything, I'm pulling existing numbers from that thread to get started

Billig, when are you going to put yours up? Have you had the chance to get it on the dyno yet?

And thanks for making a separate thread just for us.

UPS finally just brought it yesterday. I just gotta get my new exhaust since the GMPP is only 2.25". But once I order that (next paycheck) I'll be swapping it on. I can't wait

And yea, I figured I should make a page for my new TVS family

I'll have TVS w/ 2.9", 80's, 3" cai, header/dp, 3" catback, h/e, ported tb, and dual pass/opt b in the spring. I think that's everything haha

Waste of space on the server. We have dyno lists and 1/4 mile lists. I don't see what makes TVS so special it needs it's own thread. Might as well have a thread for turbo'd Cobalts. Cobalts on nitrous. Cobalts with just an exhaust. Cobalts with x.xx pulley. Cobalts with ported blowers.

Where will it end?

Because of the imense amount of people who have questions about the TVS and this will coincide with the TVS FAQ. If you knew how many people asked "what does the TVS put out with X setup", you'd see the reason for this thread.

And this is a waste of space? What about all the stupid gf/random threads? At least this one has to to with cars. Unlike 2/3 of this forum.

Thought so.

If people are to lazy to look past the TVS FAQ, why would they bother to look up this thread?

And I agree, offtopic is out of control on this site.

2 things..

1.. please try and keep the thread as a technical thread that can have questions answered and for people to see what kind of numbers or times they could run with different set ups with the TVS

2. thankyou for referring back to number 1

Dude, go drive your Fusion and quit whoring up threads that don't concern you. If it has nothing to do with you, then why bother?

Area were those times on the setup I have listed for you on the dyno?

And do you have slips for both? If so I'll add ya on the 1/4 mile list.

this is pointless. How hard is it to look at the TVS designator in the already posted Official 1/4 and Dyno threads?

I agree with slowswap. The info is out there already. The TVS numbers are posted everywhere and are labeled properly. This is just getting stupid and making lazy newbs be even more lazy.
