Only having turbo tech racing solid engine mount?

I was looking into getting a slid engine mount from turbo tech racing. Really don't plan on replacing the transmission bushings. Would I see improvements in terms of response and reducing wheel hop with just the solid motor mount?

The transmisson mounts should be replaced first for the best gains.

Both engine and tranny are important to stop drivetrain movement. You can do one, and not the other, but you will only stop about 1/2 the movement, as you are only firmly holding one side.

the solid mount is a waste of time unless you like your teeth rattled out of your head

not completly true statement

most of the wheel hop comes from the control arm bushings the bushings are soft and alow the angle of the a-arm to change rapididly causing the wheels to hop the if you change out the stock bushings for a set of spherical control arm bushings it kills 90% of the wheel hop then you can replace the stock tranny mounts with lnf mounts which have alot stiffer bushing in them then the lsj does or you can buy a set of powells or ottp or zzp rotated mounts and that will kill the rest of the hop if it still exist

that is info from way back when these cars first came out and before the spherical bushings people used to put poly cabs in and that cured most of the the problem but the poly cabs dident last a super longtime the solid mounts are garbage anymore all they are good for is rattling your car apart if you install the powell spherical cabs you will notice also that the car drives completly different its more like point the wheels and it goes without hesitation like it does with the stockers the spherical cabs are from the timt attack days
