Option b tank

Hey guys I installed my dual pass & option b tank today from ZZP & my option b tank like most others that I've seen has a plastic extension sticking out that is resting up on the inside of my frame as u can see in the pic below.

It's not hurting anything but I would prefer if it wasn't there so that the reservoir could sit a little more level.

Do you guys think it would be ok if I were to just cut off some of that plastic extension so that it's no longer resting on the frame ?

Thanks guys & thanks HGK I'll see what they say & you could be right that they don't offer it, in all of the years that I've bought from them they have never once left out a part but mistakes do happen.

Do u guys think it will be ok without bolting it down up front ? It seems pretty solid with just the rear bolt.

& if I don't get the bracket would u recommend cutting off some of that plastic so that it's no longer resting on the frame ?

I haven't taken my car out for a spin long enough to really heat it up since finishing the dual pass & option b install the other day.
As u guys can see I ran the bottom hose that comes out of the option b tank up over the coolant hose & part of the SC before bringing it back down to the t fitting.
I tried to run it along the inside of the support bar but even with zip ties I just did not feel comfortable with how close it sat next to my SC pulley.

When I turn my IC pump on I can see the coolant flowing through the clear bleed line on top & I can feel the coolant flowing really strong through the main black hose that comes out of the bottom of the option b tank all the way to the t fitting so I know that the coolant is flowing without issue.

My concern is after reading some of the post on here I'm hearing that the hose should have ran the other way.

Do you guys think I'm ok with it ran this way photo535.jpgphoto638.jpg

where did you route the 3/4 hose? I usually have a hard time getting to route it. Even under the headlight.

Question guys, after you installed your dual pass & option b did you get a different sound from your engine when you accelerated ?

It's a good sound it's almost like it's more wound up like an RC car would sound.
I don't know if it was the dual pass & option b that is producing this beautiful sound or if it's my new timing chain & gears or my new tensioner & idler pulley since I had all of it done at the same time but again it's when I accelerate either in gear or in neutral & it's like air or more of a wine

i installed option b, a front mount, and dual pass at the same time as i did water/meth and a 2.7 pulley so mine was bound to sound difference regardless

ZZP's bracket does not contain the extra attachment point or bolt. It's not needed with their design. I had ZZP's bracket on my car's option B setup for many years issue free.
