this hhr ss lasted a few months after tune was done and i dident tune it i dont do tuning

Ive heard of shops trying to tune LNF's like an EFI car and running them in the low 11's for AFR. Scary thoughts.

 

Dang.. those bearings tell as more of the tale than the piston does

 

 

What is up with that block? Different sleeve design than most other ecotecs I have seen

 

I can only think of a couple people I'd actually trust to tune mine. Was this an actual tuner or vendor who was behind this?

he doesn't like to use punctuation. you get used to it after a while.
not just shops. most ppl have never messed with di. and when they do, efi is all they know. i don't know the ins and outs of di. wouldn't even attempt to tune one.

the head gasket is still on it....
if i were to guess, i'd say not a vendor. they woulda jumped on it asap.
