No you don't have to drain all the coolant. Just have a pan underneath so when you pull off the hoses its not all over the floor. Take the cap off the resivoir to let the pressure out of the system so that it doesnt spray anywhere. As to how much you will need i'm not sure haha. Fill er up till it's to the top. Unless you're running an option b have fun bleeding the system. It's a bitch otherwise

if you bough the 50/50 mix you will not need to mix the coolant with the water...also take needle nose pliers and pinch the hose so it wont bleed out everywhere. I just installed mine 2 weeks ago and only lose not even 1/4 of a quart of coolant...hope that helps

after you get it hooked up, fill the coolant neck up to the top and start the car. as it runs the level will drop. just watch it and as the coolant drops keep filling it back up

ok thanks. Well I got everything setup, except i didn't set my car on jack stands so I will have to finish tommrow lol. And ya I bought dex cool and a couple gallons of distilled water and am going to finish that puppy off tommorow. And I have a zzp kit, it came with a good length of hose, should i cut this and use it for both or should I use one of the stock hoses from the exit from stock h/e to the zzp? Thanks alot everyone. I just like to double check lol
