question about supercharger swap

hey guys i have a question i am looking to do the mp90 swap that was featured in hot rod magazine first is this the same supercharger from the swap Charger_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ65Q3a12Q7c66Q3 a2Q7c39Q3a1Q7c72Q3a1205Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a1Q7c2 93Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZ item2554fcf6b0QQitemZ160339654320QQptZMotorsQ5fCar Q5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
and is the supercharger they used the ones from ss montes?

I have this mag and its a nice write up with the cam comparisons and all the other info. Idk if the mp90 is a monte charger or not...? thats a good question. it would be nice to find out if anyone on here has one?? only problem is i think you lose your stock bypass section from your stock supercharger. It helps reduce parasitic loss under non boost cruizes. Thats where you get your 30mpg out of your V8 eater. you"ll still get the power and more just your gas milage may drop since this bypass has to be welded shut.

oo really they do mention something about that in the article dont they i just picked it up. Anyone on here no what supercharger is in the monte's

This is the worst idea ever.

That supercharger is wayyyyyyy tooo big for our engine... not fitment wise, displacement wise.

The ratings in the magazine were to the crank. If you noticed, they werent running the water pump / AC / Alternator, so theres some hp there... along with drivetrain loss.... Your at just under 300hp.. for something that you spent more than a turbo kit...

A better proven alternative is the htv1320.

You are correct in assuming the mp90 (m90) was used on the impala/monte ss
