The number part represents heat ranges. 6 should be the next step colder.

Wrong!!! 6 is stock heat range. NGK plugs have a higher numerical number for a colder plug...

BKR6E - Stock
BKR7E - 1 Range Colder
BKR8E - 2 Ranges Colder

BKR6EIX - Stock Iridium
BKR7EIX - 1 Range Colder Iridium
BKR8EIX - 2 Ranges Colder Iridium

My car for some reason hates all plugs except for BKR8EIX's.. The 2 step colder Iridiums...

If u want... the Autolite 3922's are the one step colder, less expensive plugs.

Those Iridiums are like $28 for the 4... the autolites cost me 7.29 for the 4...

They do the same thing... they may not last as long (id say ngk lasts 1.5 times more or so) but its still not worth the extra money, imo...

Advance Auto usually carries the NGK's...

Or most any other supporting vendor has them...

I actually like my NGK Iridiums. The regular BKR7E copper's knock retard like crazy and make my car run like such **** that I basically can't go WOT...
