not really what i would call conclusive proof.
its an 8 year old modified honda.....

people pay hundreds of dollars to remove half inch restrictions in exhaust....
and yet were supposed to believe a big giant restriction like a cat is only saving you 1hp?
if youve ever seen the inside of a cat, youd know what i mean.


supposed "high flow" cats still have to pass through the exact same substrate that a stock cat has, to be able to still pass emissions. (a big wall of honeycomb, sound like restriction to you?)
high flow is pretty much just a marketting ploy. it may have been true in the past,
but especially with newer vehicles the cat already performs to these "high flow" standards right from the factory

btw, claiming dyno accuracys of 1 and 2 hp, just makes them look stupid.

Just posted it for members information, not saying that in all cases its only a few hp.

when my cat was clogged, and i bet the honeycomb out of it, i noticed a significant increase, but i cant be sure if i was just re-gaining hp that i had lost due to the clog
