Relax, what he said was he hadnt had a chance to lean it out, rev it out or up the timing before it started leaking from the gasket. The dyno will be done tomorrow and we will see what I make. This is the quote from Tim:

Sorry for the bad news, it did make 335whp though right before it started leaking coolant though. And that was only to 7000rpm before I knew that you had valve springs installed. This car will make some power.

and he said:

The tune was actually very rich, I didn’t get a chance to lean it out much before it started leaking on the dyno.

According to tim when he put it on the dyno he could tell almost immediately and it was leaking coolant. If you used the stock gasket you should be fine. I guess the Cometics (of course the one I bought) dont seal as well without prepping the head/block. Wish I woulda known that months ago O well learning experiences.

Correct. Cometic is known for causing HG issues if your head and block surface isn't perfect, or damn near it

My point exactly. Proving that dyno numbers between multiple types of dynos are extremely inconsistent. Even the same dyno at times can be inconsistent (granted the one I used was new so they were still playing with settings). A 94 viper with intake, headers, cam, and exhaust made 376whp one time I was there and with no changes done to the car at the dyno day a few weeks later it made 326whp. Recently an LS3 Vette with intake, catback, and some tune made 328whp. lol

Exactly, thats why Im having it dynoed on the exact same dyno so I can see the changes between my new TVS setup and my old M62 setup, without the tune being done im already up 70 whp which is awesome.

349 WHP is the final dyno. That is coming from the 267 I made on the M62. Same dyno. Maybe I could have gotten more by using summer blend E85 but Im content where its at.

Get hung up on numbers kids

Like the govna said, it's a tooning tool. It shows how much of a gain he made over his M62 set up. Nothing more, nothing less.

Its OTTP's ported head. I havent heard of any other people on it. I am the guinea pig with no way to measure its gain! But on a side note anyone ever deal with bogging in gear? sometimes it will shudder and jerk and refuse to even lightly accelerate. I restart it and its fine. I have begun letting it warm up and didnt have a problem after that. Could be E85 in the cold.
