spark plug gap?
 

ok i have the gm stage 2 kit ..and i have a 2.8" pulley i was wondering what should the gap be on the plugs in i get the ngk one step copper? and i was wondering what the gap be if i do the same setup but with 60lb injectors?

.32 is what i run and in your case what i would run

that would be for the 60's

I run a .35 gap with the 2.9 and 42's...

I ran a .033 when i had my SC , anything around .040 and it would hiccup in the higher rpm's ....spark blow out.

you ran .033, what pulley were you running?

I just through the dam plugs in there i checked one and it was at about 33 aswell and these are the ngk7,s so they are super sensative to gap i didnt touch them and so far the car runs fine !

A stage 3 pulley (2.99). I know it's a smaller gap than what alot of others are running but my car liked it the best. Idle was the smoothest out of all the different gaps i tried...... and i tried them all between .030 and .040

You do not need to change your spark plug gap if you change injectors.

The fuel flow rate doesnt change unless you change it in the tune.

.35" is just fine. Wouldnt go much higher than .38".

you cant swap injectors unless you get tuned so that would mean yes, if you put a different size injector in you need to change you gap on this vehicle

No...

When you change your injectors, you just change the flow rate in the tune... you dont have to touch anything else..

Meaning that everything else (AFR and such) will stay the same..

you dont need to regap, because you arent making any new power.

Yep , I think changing pulley sizes has more to do with gapping than injectors. Spark blow out suchs.

so what do you think i should try if i have a 2.8" ...032?

start on the higher end of the spectrum and work your way down till you find one that works best for you. I think I ended up with .034

I wouldn't go highr than .038, so start maybe with .036

.33-.35 for your setup.... if you have issues then close it you usually don't want t go into the .32 and lower range unless you are running 2.7 or less

You have to get a tune before swapping injectors no matter what... simple... if you think not just wait till your engine blows up

You need a tune after upgrading/downgrading injectors however you do NOT need to change the gap on the plugs. For what the op is running he should be at roughly .035

yeah i know i had the 60's in once but it blew up like a month later and i got a new engine and supercharger, i have hp tuners... but if any of you guys know any tips for the 60's tune that would be great thanks
