Supercharger Maintenance?

Hi there sorry if there's already a thread on this but I have been wondering is there something I should be doing to the blower for maintenance?

Make sure ur belt is good.

Dont over heat your blower (watch your iat's). Thing could potentially warp over time making it less efficient

Make sure the vacuum lines coming out of it are not all cracked up if they are, replace them

Make sure the coolant in your intercooler system is up to date filled and your i.c. Pump is working

Gm says the oil in the blower is good for life, many change it at one point or another just to feel safe but its a debate.

also the coupler may be a good idea to replace. and when you do that, you're gonna want to change the oil in it anyways

I think if Ur running a smaller pulley than stock. Im on a 2.5,i change my sc oil once a year at the beginning of the year. Proly don't need to but its cheap reassurance.
If Ur stock or GM stage 2 i would recommend changing it every 50k.

I changed my supercharger oil for the first time this year.

My blower only has about 15k on it, but the oil was pretty clean.

I'm not touching the oil again for at least 50k.

Note:

No need to change the coupler unless you are hearing noise.

This should be stickied somewhere

No need. This info is already on the site.

Not to mention some of it is not 100% correct.

IAT's do not hurt the blower. The coolant in the intercooler system is not blower maintenance, etc.
