Thinking about going to the next level

Since I am about to have a FULLY built engine I'm thinking about selling the 1320.... and going to the next level. Can't find much info on either options... TVS1900 or S259et. The 259 would be more work because I'd have to swap all manifolds and find charge pipes, ect. I have everyting apart so it wouldn't be hard to swap right now. I have a feeling the s259et has more potential but I don't know. Oppinons? :)

Best person to talk to regarding this would be Kenny! Zrated89 hes been down this road and I think he couldnt be happier with his decision

It will still be my DD, but I don't see why I can't make 500's safely. When I get valve springs I'll be revving to 8-8500. I think I will have to worry about a fuel shortage

If I wanted whine I would have a m62 plugged with a 2.5 lolz

Bad-A-SS 05-08-2013 12:43 PM

The hell go with the PT5862 or PT6262 either one of these turbos would deff get you there too. Mark(exsoccer) Used to have the 259 if im not mistaking. You should ask him about it. Precision>Bullseye

yellowsupercharged06 05-08-2013 12:43 PM

Bluelightning 05-08-2013 12:44 PM

Another one bites the dust

Tjolley 05-08-2013 12:48 PM

Found a good price on the mp1900 about the same price as a new harrop 1320.
The only crappy thing about the 1900 is the pulleys r like $100+
Im thinking the 1900 should be able to reach 30 psi easily.
100% meth made like 25+ on a 3.8 or larger pulley. Correct me if im wrong

riceburner 05-08-2013 12:50 PM

wow thats awesome

u'd definately want a killer chiller with that :)

Tjolley 05-08-2013 12:52 PM

I already have one lol

Hockeyman 05-08-2013 12:54 PM

Voted TVS1900 for lulz

Being different is just another way of saying you wanna find another avenue of power and have a lot of money to spend on custom goods.

Those blower options you speak of,

Both euthanasia and I provided Our vehicles, and I did the tuning. Him and I are the ones that started the bigger blower craze, mp90, lysholm 1.6, TVS 1900.

The price too gain ratio in the end always favors the ready to bolt on tvs 1320

With this post by Steve in another thread I say keep the 1320 or go turbo. Unless you got money to burn and run a 1900 just to say you have one.

574 05-08-2013 01:06 PM

Thanks dustin, I never read that. I really thought there could be big potential for the 1900 no one has really done much with it. And NO I don't have money to burn... I have a few pennies in my TVS set up so I'm banking on that covering most of the swap lol

Bluelightning 05-08-2013 01:13 PM

No prob. Unless you're modding like tjolley. Then you would benefit from a TVS 1900.

574 05-08-2013 01:14 PM

Yeah.. I'm only doing 2.0 so the thought have having 1.9 liters of blower is making me not want to try it

armcclure 05-08-2013 01:41 PM

I'm doing a big blower... You all will be jelly ;)
