Update

Okay, for those of you waiting for good news how about this:

The engine is waiting for an appointment time to be tuned on the engine dyno!!!!!

That is correct. All the components are finished and assembled. The software for the twin turbo setup is written and tested. It is now time to run the engine and then start tuning.
On top of that the hood is completed and it is supposed to look great but so far no pictures. Hopefully by the end of next week they will be posted up.
I do have some pictures of the custom radiator which is kind of anti-climatic until you look at what a stock one looks like for comparison.

I don't get that at all The body is stock other than the hood and even that kept the stock lines.

The date isn't set yet but it should be with in the next week or so. I will let everyone know. I may even head out there for the final day of tuning which will switch from the engine dyno to a chassis dyno.
As for the final numbers we have set 1200HP at the crank as our goal, simply because I don't need to run on the edge because I am not racing for titles or records. We will soon see where the engine is happiest considering the giant assed turbo we are using.

I should have just went with a stock one I know
And why do you need a larger one??? I thought you were done with the Cobalt and focusing on the TT RX7?

The first vids will be of the engine on the engine dyno as by the time the car is ready for the road snow will be on the ground back east.

That is a trick question right? I mean only an idiot would go through all the hassle of a RWD conversion and leave in the LSJ inst..........ooops

so what are you planning on doing for the hood material, you just modding the stock hood or doing a CF mold then painting stock?

We just had the stock hood cut along the lines that were there and had metal welded in to raise it up the 5.88"s to allow for the clearance for the large charge pipe. The lines go all the way back just like the stock ones and the back of the hood was redone the same way as stock as this is not a cowl hood.
I haven't gone with CF anywhere else so for the added cost it wasn't that important to me.
I also wasn't allowing fiberglass because I didn't want the hassle of having to regularily deal with the spider cracks.

Chances are the T-56 won't be happy, neither will my clutch.
Having looked at that lenco, that is impressive but I will be honest and say I don't like those type of shifters.
