Update disappointment
Well having been told the crankshafts were almost done, today I get the bad news.
The crankshafts are screwed up and have to scrapped. The measurements on both cranks were double checked after the employee responsible, quit the company unexpectedly.
So for my birthday present I get told we need to start over again.
Can you say happy fricken birthday to me????
Yeah, yeah, I know **** happens but do you realize how long this sets me back??????

I tried to rep you but it wont let me I dont know why. it is like they locked you out of getting anymore rep dude. so happy friggin B-day. All I got out of this is they have to start over. not sure whether the employee just quit or he screwed up on your project and left due to it....LOL.

any way it plainly sucks that you have setbacks. it will be just even sweeter. later on I guess. We better go for this road trip before I am 40 which is next august (ohh I just jixxed you, guess you hate me now and I will get -rep).
