It was a long time ago, longer than many of you have been alive. I am really boring these days.
I have applied for my pardon but who knows how long that will take.

The wife is pushing for a metallic victory red (she does really cool things to me) and the final call will be made, when I get the concept drawing of the interior.

That is still getting off cheap compared to the 10 day, 6,000 mile round trip to go get my car home. How much farther do you want me to drive????

Think of it this way.....It will be worth it because you will have the FASTEST street legal cobalt out there. I still say mercedes silver on the monster. Like the mercedes silver on the F1 cars. Damn that would be sexy.

Yes but I could just have it trucked back, the same way I shipped it out. I will do the trip to try and give as many chances as possible for people to see it up close.

Doc you have two options because you are on the west coast.
I will give as much notice as is possible for the members interested in travelling to the unveiling.

Hey Herndon for a car like this i wouldn't mind it. We could take my car, have a little fun in Canada, and head back down. You know you would love that.

Small update.
The following is the final version of the Supercooler that is going into my car.
Down the road there may be a revision that draws much less power but when the car starts up, this is it for now.
Also I will have pics of the new cranks and rods soon, as they are expected to ship in the next day or two.
Supercooler

You will get to see it Joe, as it will get to the tracks in both Edmonton and Calgary. Now that is not to say don't come to the unvieling if you can, because the more the merrier.

I'll actually be heading back to the East Coast at the end of the month, I'll just be on a ship (USS Wasp, LHD-1) and my schedule will be kind of tight. I'd still appreciate a little advance.

There will be a minimum of 3 weeks notice.
Now in three weeks you should be able to get that ship rerouted to NiagraFalls, NY

As long as you drive and pay for 3/4 of the gas. And that's only if you get good gas mileage the whole way. And anyways my 2.0 SS/SC gets about as much gas mileage as you do.

hey Rod, PM me when you start to pick dates man, i try to avoid this place these days.

i've had the 30R rockin for a while now, shes down for a new GM PVO "inspired" design ....i just found the designs and drawings...i swear!

I cant wait to see this beast, plus a long drive will give me plenty of time to mess with LTFT's and basic shake down on the new set up.

We are starting off with a smaller Canadian mag, RPM and as we get the interior started will be approaching the larger ones.
The shop doing the interior/paint has dealings with the large magazines as he has several covers from previous projects he has done. We will let everyone know the magazines as we get closer to having the car featured.

Still going with the Bigstuff3.
We had thought about the MSD MEFI-4, but it only goes to 2 Bar and the harnesses won't be ready until approximately, Feb/08.
