It is moving along better and I hope to have more pics late next week.
And thanks. I should be driving a Cobalt again at the end of the week.

The spare is also insurance for having a great time at the track. I won't have to worry if "today" is the day. When she blows I swap engines and redo the other.
The car will be government inspected in 2 provinces to insure street legal. And yes those tire are crazy.

Don't worry though, I live far enough away from you that I won't likely show up to blow away your car.

As I have learnt, "supposed to" is far removed from "reality" when it comes to performance projects.
That means we are now "anticipating" the end of June.
The metal works is almost all done inside the car except for the floor and firewall. The frame/rollcage gets primered next week as well as the tubs/floor.
There should be pics late next week.

I'll believe it when I see it. Either way, the thing will get 10 mpg, and what are you gonna drive it around with a 9" ford and huge slicks with spool?

Gas mileage is not a concern. This will be street driven but I never said it was going to be a commuter car.
There will also be 2 sets of rear axles and 2 different rearends. One set for the track one for the street. The street rear will be a posi unit, not spool.
The tires on the back for the street will not be slicks, they will be 18x335 Michelin Pilot2 Sports. At times I may throw on the DOT approved M&H drag radials, for having fun on the street.
Anything else I can clarify for you?

This is a long thread so I don't expect you had a chance to read everything.
