What did you pay for the staged kits?
I was just wondering what did you all pay for the stage 1 or 2 kit and installation? The dealers around here are way overpriced IMO, one quoted me $960 for the kit and installation and another $1,100. For those that got the kit from the dealer, what did you pay for the kit alone?

****, the blower can be taken off in like 10-15 easily! Stage 2 should take 2 hours tops and that taken your sweet time. I got Stage 2 when it first came out, so I paid $673 for the kit and I installed it myself. They reflashed the PCM for free since the reflash is part of the kit!

the reason was they said they dident have the right tools to take it off. so thats why it took so long. then they said that 2 hours of that it was on the computer getting reflashed. i arugued with them but it was no good they said it took them 8 hours thats what i had to pay them for

Stage 2 cost
$960 is the kit price (Canada). Unless you preform some incredible knob shining (I don't want to hear about it).....thats the price.
Install: My dealer, who doesn't know a ******* thing about these cars, charged me 3.5 hours after I flipped-out.
The time issue, generally has to do with the techies trying to figure out the on-line computer re-flash crap. This, in my oppinion is their problem , not mine .
A 4-bolt blower re and re with injectors is 2 hours tops on this car; add a 1/2 hour for the pulley re and re. Add a lifetime while GM Trained Monkeys' try to figure out how to accsess the website for the re-flash.

I paid $548 shipped for the Stage kit and did the install with a lot of help from Paul (06BlackG85SS). It was done in under an hour. Even with a bootlegged pulley puller.
