I've only seen my temps get over 200 once. My fans are always running and I don't drive in stop and go too much.

My car never gets that warm. You should tune your car so that the fans kick in when you reach 190.

Since i went turbo, they have gotten up to 196... But thats about it.

You can get up to 220 and there wont be any problems.

the normal time is 223*, which is when the fans kick in and cool you down. Mine used to do that all the time at idle, but since i got tuned, i set it to where they kick in at 200 and cool me down to 180.

About 185-190 mine stays at. Fans are set to come on at 195 if I am stopped for periods of time.

i've noticed even the 2.2's pull harder at 180 then they do at 195
175-185 seems to be the sweet spot, above 190 and that engine feel heatsoaked

never got above 190 in the ss so i wouldn't know

so i spent some time watching the PLX readouts from the OBD2, and idling for a long time the temp goes up to 201 at that temp you hear the fans kick in temp keeps rising to 203 then drops back down to 177 to 180-185 and stays there. Of down the road, runs, 177-180 ....AIT are 77 idling and about 70 going down the road, so that tells you what the car is seeing at the MAF box...
