White Smoke! I'm freaking!

so after I installed my cai, and first fired it up, I had a little bit of white smoke. came out for about 5 seconds and was gone. now, after having it on for about 2 weeks, and getting on it a little, not a lot, started it up yesterday in my gf's driveway and she saw white smoke for a second or two and then it stopped. Now I know constant white smoke is indicative of a fried head gasket. but this isn't constant. should I be worried?

its probably coincidental, does it smoke under accel or just idle if so its prob just steam.

a small amount of smoke at startup is not unusual. especially this time of year when dew starts to build under your car. it's probably just evaporatoin. remember, even though it's warm out, your exhaust goes from whatever temp it is out to burning hot in a matter of minutes. if it's pouring out, and is really thick, that's a different story. but a little bit is probably nothing to worry about.

I haven't noticed any under accel and I'm sure I would. and I don't think it got wet, from what I remember. lol I just almost had a heart attack because that's an expensive job, so I wanted to get some feedback.

thanks guys

^^^ yes.
another technique is to smell the exhaust. im not saying go suck on a tail pipe, just stand back there and if it smells sweet like maple syrup, you has a problem. (coolant burning off)

Sweet maple syrup? I don't remember mine smelling anything like that! Burning coolant smells horrible and nothing like sweet maple syrup to me!

Your car is probably fine. Most cars emit a different color smoke upon startup. If it starts billowing white smoke and smells horrid, then you'll know the headgasket is gonzo!
