ZZP Big H/E question
Seems like the people at ZZP don't like to reply to their PM's. Can you hook up an option B to the stock replacement ZZP H/E? I don't see a nozzle input for it. I have money to purchase some items from them and they aren't replying... I would like an answer to my question before I just buy one.
|
email them directly
|
It does not come with a fitting for an option b. You will have to weld one in if you want one.
|
Use stocker.
|
U dont need a option b with the stealth u fill the HE directly
And the stocker works fine. Stocker option b good to go |
Awesome. That's some extra cash in my hands then. I will just sell my Option B. It's not like I'm trying to call them out or anything but when I wait for days without a reply it seems like I am being ignored and not taken seriously. I think calling them and leaving a message is also a waste of my time because I have done that a few times and never been called back. ZZP, what's going on? I want to buy some stuff from you but would have liked more information so that I could do so.
\rant. Thank you everyone. This thread can be closed now. |
Id keep option b if I were you, it constantly bleeds the system.

Talk to Vander nars. He had an Opt. B bung welded to his stealth HE. |

Im just wondering how u bleed air out of a system that wont have any air in it. Thats the whole reason for filling the heat exchanger directly.

As per John Powell: If you have laminova cores ,you have to keep air out of the cooling system. All engine cooling systems have a bleed line, running to a coolant reservoir (option B if you want to call it that). So you can have a radiator the size of the empire state building , if there is air in the coolant the laminova cores wont work effectively; the air is constantly entrained in the coolant in the LSJ Aftercooling system, its not something you can bleed out once and forget.. |
Ok thats cuz u dont fill the HE directly.
So that means the entire auto industry WAS setting up there coolant systems wrong with a direct fill radiator. I gone round and round on this for years with the heat exchanger style cooling systems here at CAT. We decided to go with a direct fill radiator. |
most automotive setups run an option b line aka steam pipe line to constantly bleed the air from the cooling system
|
Now they do i understand that. Im talking before that
|
In my opinion its a great unit and there is no opt B port so you will have to either request zzp add it for you or have it added at your cost.

I will try and get a hold of them one more time and see if they can weld a bung into it. I am not happy with the service right now. Their product is great though.

Email Turbo Tim, He usually email back to you on the next day.

I run ZZP's stealth H/E with their single pass. i had zzp weld a fitting on for me for free. i just asked in the comment section. just make sure you flush the H/E out because mine had metal shavings inside the H/E. i ended up deleting my option B and selling it. i just fill the H/E cap. Got rid of alot of plumbing lol

Exactly i knew the stelth didnt need it cuz u fill it directly.
The hole reason be hind the option b is to blead out air cuz most ppl cant get all the air out unless u have the tool like me to do it right.. Lets see the tool is like 40$ and a option b is 100$+ |
ZZP is busy mining bitcoins.

you should still run the option b with the stealth the purpose of the option b is for the lam cores not the H.E. and pulling a vac on the system is a good way and the best way but not 100%
Opt. B is not a one time only bleed of the after cooling system. |
^ what those two guys said. I have a feeling its like talking to a wall though.
