zzp brfps boost reference fuel installed - Fuel Lab - w/o evap add on

I am ordering a gauge, I understand base pressure, just dont need to mess with idle on E since you need 27 percent more fuel to create the right stoich for an engine. So if base is 58-60 psi and I throw 17 lbs of air down the regulator and I increase a psi of fuel per PSI while setting up the car. The power enrich will take care of the rest as I adjust the table on the dyno. That may matter more on a PCM that is better than our crap P12 ECM but its still done right. Just not the way you think it should be done. There are many reading these threads and generalizations are not going to fit everyone.
Hint hint: the set base pressure of the fuelab isn't 58-60, even though that's the lowest you'll ever see.

Here is a pic of me and my middle kid hooking up the evap port. You could leave the entire evap system in place with this mod and just splice in a connector and remove the evap purge valve next to the oil cap, delete the code and bam. BRFPS with very minimal mods to make it happen. Thank you ZZP for an easy laid out system.

How are those used BKR7E plugs doing? They only had like 1000 miles on them from break in, not sure if I told you that on Monday. Did you check Napa yet, our store carries two boxes at a time so you have to jump on them. For having a 2.6" pulley/intense kit on your car your compression was really good for the mileage. Next time you bring the car over we will do the cooling mods.
edit: forgot you are going out of town, when you get back from your Florida trip, we got some stuff to get done.

I have a local guy here that has a 116000 miles on his LSJ, did a compression test, took 5 minutes to pull his valve cover, inspect, and make your decision. His car was 150psi across and the head looked like it had the due oil changes.LSJ turbo, I am a bit partial, however.
I just seen a post were your compression was 150 per cylinder well the spec is 180 to 210 so that puts you on the side of worn out so he probably knew all about the car he had

I have a few sets already in stock in the garage. 150 isnt that bad for 113000 on the clock. I was sitting at 150 when I bought my car used with 70K on it. If everyone that had anything less than the 180 chevy would be replacing a lot of motors. The LSJ has horrible rings and ringlands... I need to get a chance to check a few more in our area that arent built but I would venture to say theirs are in the 150's as well if they have any miles on them. I know of one more guy near us that stops by my garage occasionally, I need to check his as well.

When i get the car back on the dyno I am going to try and use my BRFPS to adjust the fuel up top and get back up and over 420 without the IDC becoming soo great. I am on E85.

I just barely break 15 psi at 7500 rpm in 75 degree weather on my M62 and i'm running 26 degrees with 2.8" pulley (90% IDC on 79lb/hr w E85).

I know this is an old thread, but I need some pics on install and all I can see are photobucket kittens. I've searched but all I see are kittens. Can anyone give me a good pic of the line setup? According to fuel lab, I'm supposed to have a fuel in, fuel out, and the boost reference line. But it doesn't seem like the ZZP kit is set up this way. They locktite-ed my ******* Guage port so it's rounded out. I'm also guessing this isn't meant to be placed under the hood?

Surprising they all don't use one. Instead they throw on huge injectors and bitch that an LS throttle body runs ruff. Use stock line in from your fuel tank. Use stock return line for return. One line to your rail with no return line needed on your rail. Boost line looks like vac hose to wherever. Fix the guage port or add one inline to the rail line but close to the regulator. Adjust higher Psi when it's hot out or you dilute your fuel with pump crap. Have smooth running and responsive engine at cruise speeds and safety when your boosted. No brainier. Where's the pics? Mines in a tube chassis and would do you no good.
