ZZP Header/Downpipe Combo + ZZP 3" Stainless Steel Catback Exhaust = WIN? Discuss...

Hey guys, whats going on? I have a question. Right now I'm running the Vibrant Header/ Downpipe Combo + Magnaflow 2.5" Catback Exhaust. My question is..... Near the end of summer I plan on going OTT Stage 3 and I'm planning on getting a 2.8" Pulley for the TVS + Meth Kit + Tune. My current mods are in my sig (I'm ordering in soon* Dual Pass/ Option B + Wideband and Interceptor Gauges) and I think I'll be fine as far as supporting mods go but after doing a lot of searching around (of course knowing that with the TVS forcing more air in obviously needs supporting mods to force the air back out) I'm thinking I would benefit greatly from converting to a 3" header/ downpipe/ full exhaust along with this TVS setup. I was looking into this ZZP Header Downpipe Combo and its seems to be a great deal but I keep hearing about this leak issue with the 2 bolt flange and some mention that ZZP has fixed this issue but others claiming they're still having problems. What is the word on this combo? Did ZZP fix this issue or am I likely to run into the same problem? and as for the exhaust I figure IF I do in fact run this ZZP Header/ Downpipe combo I might as well run the full set up with the ZZP 3" Stainless Steel Catback Exhaust and I was wondering what you all think about it. Would this be a worthy setup for what I'm looking for? Reliable, and gets the job done or likely to run into problems?

Also any recommendations on the different options would be nice. I'm not trying to cheap it out, I'm planning on getting all the 304 Stainless options for the header and downpipe + get the 3" downpipe, 3" bolt in exit (on the ZZP site it says specifically 3" downpipe with bolt in 3" exit should only be selected with our 3" catback system.) and I'm going to get the option to add the extra O2 Bung for Wideband. And I am planning on getting the Magnaflow cat for the downpipe as well as the Magnaflow resonator on the exhaust. I'm thinking this set up will be great but I want to know what do you all think?

By the way, thanks to whoever decides to chime in and comment on my thoughts! You all take care....

I thought so lol you have any recommendations on anything else I should look into? Thanks haha

Honestly I'm seriously rethinking the plan and I had a feeling I would get feedback like this about it being noisy and leak issues (thats why I decided to post it lol). Should I just stick to what I have on right now (Vibrant Header/ Downpipe + Magnaflow Exhaust) or is there anything else worth looking into?? Thanks guys

Thats what I hear so I've leaning towards that (just a lil more expensive than what I wanted to spend) but header + downpipe + exhaust are important so might as well not try to be cheap about it. lol

i had zzp's mid-length header/dp. it leaked. so i sent it back to get fixed. when i got it back with their "updated" design, it still leaked.

buy a clear image/vibrant header and your choice exhaust

Well I was thinking about keeping the Vibrant and just getting the Hahn 3" Catback Exhaust and bolting it on but I feel like it would be more beneficial towards the future set up to just replace the Vibrant header and downpipe with Hahn 3" header and downpipe + add on the Hahn 3" catback. Although I do think it is a lot of money to be spent for a 0.5" difference (+ I am quite happy with the Vibrant setup as of now) but from searching around I know it would be better for the car in general health wise AND the setup I plan on getting will yield better numbers. I'm just looking for a good setup that I'd be happy with and not have problems bothering me (like the ZZP leaking issue). I have heard clear image is great too though. Any word on that? I really am leaning towards the Hahn setup... but man it's gonna cost... lol

clear image is awesome and decently priced. Its what I have. Only thing that sucked was the wait time because they build in batches. Was definitely worth the wait though. xD

The Vibrant setup that Im running does the job and I've had zero problems with it but definitely like you said Hahn is pretty reputable and like 07MetallicSC said Hahn is definitely where its at right now. I'm thinking for me I'm going to go ahead a pick up the Hahn header downpipe and exhaust just to get a complete clean setup. right now I'm just looking for somewhere that has the best prices.

Hey thanks man! I'm thinking about purchasing the header and downpipe sometime in march and the exhaust shortly afterwards so definitely I'll PM Aaron and let him know my plan and tell him you recommended TTR (always a good experience dealing with them)and see what happens... Thanks

So will the Vibrant Header/DP will bolt right up to a Hahn 3" catback? I'm considering this over a complete ZZP setup. thanks!
