ZZP Over Sized Tensioner help!

I am in the process of installing the oversized tensioner pulley. We ground down the ridged area as their instructions state. When we bolted the pulley down and tried to put the belt on - we noticed it will NOT fit. Not even a little bit We then ground down the edge of the tensioner arm that bolts onto bracket (best way i can describe it). Still not even close to fitting. I have emailed them for help - I think I may have got the wrong one? But I won't know until they see the pictures. I will post them up in a few.

I just posted the pics
Note, we flipped the pulley too thinking we had it backwards, but neither way works.

I'm a little confused by your post. What won't fit? The tensioner or the belt?

the pulley bolted on fine after the grinding. The problem is the gap between the tensioner arm and the pulley on the bracket. the belt will NOT fit between there. it won't fit by a lot too.

To the best of my knowledge these are the part numbers for the oversize pulley. Check them against the pulley you got.
Gates # for oversize pulley 38009
Gm # for oversize pulley 88909590 AC Delco
76mm

The belt runs over the pulley. It doesn't go inbetween the arm and pulley haha. Look at this diagram. This is how the belt is routed.
