ZZP Stage 3 Kit Questions
I have been looking at installing a stage 3 kit on my cobalt lately. I was wondering if what i have on the car will allow me to safely do this without hurting the car.
The car has an air intake, a magnaflow 4in cat back exhaust, and 60# siemens injectors. Any/Advice help would be greatly appreciated! Also, i was wondering how hard this would be to install. I am assuming changing the pully size wouldnt be that bad, but the heat exchanger and the endplate are the pieces im concerned that are going to be difficult to install. |
4" catback exhaust ?!? lol
The tip might be 4", but the magnaflow catback piping is 2.5". |

read the how to from the guy above me
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/how-...rnator-274630/ its not too hard... it is pretty involved... but only takes 4-6 hours with a buddy :twothumbs: maybe less if you are more mechanically inclined than me... but i'm assuming not since you posted the questions heat exhangers are easy to put on, worse case you gotta remove your front bumper which is simple. having and intake and exhaust will only help ur car breathe better. stick with a 2.8" pulley, do those cooling mods, and get a custom tune for your car. |
