Only the same year will work. 08-10 the year does not matter.

Any cluster will work in any year. However, the DIC functions won't work if you get an 05 or 06 cluster and put it on an 07+ car

 

Mostly true. I think the chimes will also not work properly if I remember right.

So to answer the op yes the cluster will swap. When swapping be careful of the trim on the steering column. It's easy to scratch. You won't need of recalibrated either though the dealer will tell you otherwise as I found out.
