2.2 Engine locked up. Have good 2.4 LE5 block and want to use 2.2 cyl head...???

Huh, what year are Gen 3's?

Do they still have the shitty internals like the later year Gen 2's?

I went with an 06 block for the stronger rods and I believe pistons.

That's weird cause as far as I read the new Gen 3 eco are in the new ATS n Malibu and its a 2.5 and not compatible with Gen 1 or 2?
