Attention 2.2 supercharged
how many of you have sold your vehicle after you supercharged it..?? i not only supercharged it but lowered it and put shocks on it..
i feel like a trade in is worthless and anyone with common sense wouldn't buy it. would my best bet be trying to sell it to a highschooler for like 3k? there is 40k miles and it is manuel?
howw has these sold for people who has sold them?

yeah, trade in is gonna suck...... Best bet may be a part out and trade in as stock(if possible). That way you are getting some money for the parts, and(maybe) getting a decent price for the car.
Otherwise, sell it to a kid for as much as you can

is it possible to just take it to the dealer and say it has bigger tires and louder exhaust and take what he gives you real quick and run off with ur newley purchased car. Will they def. know a supercharger is in it? or could u play it off like it is a debaged SS and they must of fucked up the interior the first time you purchased it....

What he's talking about is the fact that if you trade it in and the dealership runs the VIN and sees the SC on there for a base 2.2, they're going to pretty much give you nothing for trade.

^yep, also with that they will see the aftermarket tune, then whatever warranty that goes with the car goes by by...best to part it out, you could average about 1300 or the kit, maybe more pending on what gauges you got and condition. plus the car back to stock for 3500ish

Not all dealerships run the VIN right away. There was a dealership in my town and well someone took a 2.2L,a put a dual exhaust on it, a cai, hundreds of carbon fiber stickers over everything on the interior, rims and tinted tail lights and he put an SS badge on the back and thats what the dealership was selling it as.

no half of you guys are wrong because if u ever been to a dealership, half of the people who work their are ****** morons anyways. i knew more about my own car than the guys did who worked in the body shop at chevy and ****, they wont even think twice that you put the blower in after u bought the car, theyll think it came like that... they dont get all down to the nitty gritty about that to be honest, only if there is problems with the car~!

It depends on if your dealer is actually a good dealership...Friendly Chev and Luther Brookdale Chev are the only 2 dealers I deal with in MN (I'm sure there are some other good ones) and they've got some people that actually know about cars...sure they have some dumb people there too, but you have to make sure you talk to the knowledgeable ones.

do not let them see that you have an sc.
i had ss seats, ss body, sc, all the mods, exhaust etc.
they quoted me 6.5.
i parted out my car and made it stock, they gave me 4.5
i made a lot more in returns and parting out my car and i'm sure that had they not know it was sc'd (which they knew because they brought it up) i would have maybe gotten more for trade in.
