Unhappy Cleaned Throttle Body, idle surges now

I cleaned my TB lastnight and now idle is acting funny when I drive. When I am driving about 2000-2500 rpm's and drop it into neutural the rpm's will rise between 2500-3000 rpm instead of dropping back down. When it does go back down at stoplight it will idle at 1300-1500 rpms. I did not spray it with anything. I sprayed a rag with cleaner and wiped the inside with it.

TB connector and I pulled it off the intake manifold to clean it. Hope I did not hurt the TB when I move the plate back and forth to clean it. I might try pulling it off again and put it back on (Gasket not sealing?).

It might not be sealed. Also try unhooking your battery for 10mins to reset your comp and let it relearn idle

its an all electronic system so when u moved the plate back and forth you prob fucked your position sensors and will have to get a new one.

^ either this or somehow the throttle butterfly is caught onside of the throttle body itself...... If its not then id say either vacuum leak somewhere, the t.b is bad or drive it for a while like so with about 5-15 key cycles. Drive it for 10-30 mins each !

^^^^^^^ If the t.p.s does say have a issue a code will come up yes and it will go into limp mode. But because the sensor is bad it doesnt mean itll throw a code. It has to go out of the bounderies that the t.p.s was set with and ect!

take it off the car and with only the cars power on see how the butterfly valve looks closed and with someone stepping on the pedal at various points.

Thnx. 6 pin correct? I know electrical systems are picky, but this is stupid to throw off the Sensor that easy.
