I wouldn't bother if you're stock. The AC Delco's are designed to last until around 100,000 miles. If you feel compelled to change them, stick with AC Delco's unless you decide to add some performance enhancements that require colder plugs. They may be a bit more expensive, but generally you won't have teething issues with them.

I should mention I frequent a shop in Pensacola called RPM. We had an LSJ with e3's come in where the end broke off the spark plug, dropped int he motor, and destroyed it. The company, e3, purchased a new engine. I had them in my Lotus, got some misfire, took them out and the whole damn plug would rotate inside its shell, that and the ends were mere MILES from breaking off.

There my 2 cents.

That sucks dude. I think they are probably only good for lawn care tools.

That's why I mentioned I would just like to buy a spare set to have for when mine do go bad....I haven't checked/gapped mine since I bought the car in 07, so it would probably be good to get out there and check them out to make sure they look good.

I was just wondering if the NGK's are any cheaper and if they have a factory equivalent for when I do replace mine. If I go with ZZP's SC kit down the road, then I would get NGK's for sure.

So my main question was whether NGK makes something comparable to AC Delco's that are possibly cheaper.

BTW, anybody know the part number on the AC Delco's so I can have my sister-in-law check pricing on them. I'm talking about the stock AC Delco's for the 2.2.
