Favor to ask anyone with a 2.2

All I need is for someone to do this:

Start car.
Put car in gear.
Put car back in park.
Floor the gas pedal.

Then tell me, did your car rev at all? Or could you hold it down seconds at a time before the throttle would move? I would bet that anyone with a 2.2 the car will NOT rev after you put it in gear then back in park.

I will too when I finish my Nova build. I might be able to afford tubular control arms and a cam bearing puller/installer this month.

I drove a car yesterday that did the same thing but I'm pretty sure it was a protection/fuel economy thing.why do you need to rev in park anyways? haha

The truth: To let the dogs know it's me and not some random person to kill.

The simple answer: Because RACRCAS.
