naw i went cheap and got a tsudo....but im having issues getting the silencer out

 

that is a good exhaust dude i have it and i love it

 

cool , but they shipped it with silencer in and i'm having issues getting it out, might have to wait till i get it on, so it heats up and becomes looser

 

LOL until the silencer expands more then the tip does

 

lol, any ideas on how to get it out?

 

Not sure, how does the silencer look? Got any pics? I use to get a pair of pliars and grab onto the center, but I have megan

 

best i could get, i just cant find anything to grab a hold on it

i can move it side to side a bit, but only a few MM

 

may just be me but that looks like a normal tip

 

How much was it? Im looking for either a good muffler or a not exspensive exhaust.

 

it moves, and had bolts holding it in place, i just cant move it outward

i paid little under $250 with shipping

for now im sticking with the cat-back, thats the last of my fun money for awhile, but i plan on do the whole exhaust after awhile

speed-element is where i got it, but now when i look at webpage is says BBP exhaust

once i get it on, ill post a video of what it sounds like

 

This will fit on a 2.2L 05 N/A right? Will I need anything other than this? I have everything stock so yeah.

 

yup will fit stock hangers too, i got a na 2.2

 

Hmm looks like im getting this then lol. Has to sound better than that stock **** and it doesnt look like a fart can. lol

 

did they fix that issue yet? before it used to be too high causing the bumper to melt a little. and the easiest way i got the silencer out of my buddy's tsudo was the wood end of a hammer. lodge it in there, give a little of an upward angle, and pull to all hell

no problem. worst case scenario if it is too close to the bumper...go to any auto parts store and buy some longer rubber hangers

 

after 45min of trying to get the silencer out, i was successful.

I couldn't pull it out even with all my force so i had an idea, maybe some sort of sealant held it in place. So i hit it with a hammer and it moved down about i say an inch or two, then i got a ratchet in there and got its head on the end of the silencer and pulled and it popped right out , now to get this on when i got time

 

the way we did it is stick a crowbar into it and jiggle it.. it'll break lose in seconds...

 

they make it so difficult to remove, almost seems like they dont want them to be removed lol
