I have an 06 lt, every now and then it won't start, when I turn the key all power to everything goes for a while and they key won't come out unless I hit the switch in that little hatch under the steering column, but then a little while later it will just magically start up, also I've had my purge valve or whatever go and it throws a code so my check engine light has been on, well now after finally my car starts the check engine light is off, why?? Is it my starter thats bad?

 

No more warranty I'm assuming since it's an 06?
