Helping a friend diagnose codes.
 

Hey a buddy of mine is having issues with his car and says it works like a bag of shit. I checked it or codes tonight and it's showing p0300-random misfire, p0171 lean bank 1, p0446 - something to do with the evap purge solenoid.

What could be wrong with his car?

P0171 does he have a intake and not tuned. Evap code is more then likly a purge valve issue replace it. Po300 is a misfire code chwck gap or if bad replace with correct heat range and gap correct

Nope he has a stock airbox but I did notice it has a crack/gap around the maf seal.

What kinda car?

Itll throw all three of those codes if it has a cracked intake hosing since its getting unmetered air pass the maf

Yep the crack can cause all the codes but make sure all is well meaning the purge valve is good and ect to just in case
