2.2 Exhaust size

Okay so i know this has been on here somewhere but i searched and can't find it, so i was wondering if a Magnaflow muffler with a 2 1/4 inlet and outlet would just hook right up to my existing piping. THanks and sorry!

no it will not

it will have to be welded in...or possibly clamped on.

Im pretty sure the stock pipe is 1.5 or 1.75. It was very small compared to my magnaflow Cat-back

btw i was running a 2.5 inlet muffler on stock piping.... if you mean welded on by "just hook up" then yes it will ... they will just shim it down to fit but isnt going to hurt

So I'm going to ask for your opinion.

What Maganflow universal muffler would fit on the car? I want to keep the stock piping (for now) I just want a little louder sound, but not any rice sound like from a fart can.

If you can post a part number for a magnaflow muffler, I would really like that.

BTW: I don't have enough cash right now for a full cat-back system.
