Wow that's interesting. Sure your clearances were correct? Did you break in the engine with conventional for 750 miles? No boost? Holy **** batman. Just listened to the second video. That sir is rod knock if I've ever heard it. Put some Lucas in there it will quiet it up. But I would beat on it anymore. Time for another build.

It appears to be due to an oil issue. I drained the oil and only enough to fill about 1/3 of my oil drain pan came out
Car didn't smoke so I'm not sure where the oil went lol. Honestly I'm just going to put in new rod bearings and hope i got lucky before I start looking for another block.

Well your no fun! All seriousness I hope some fresh bearings will straighten it out. Hopefully you didn't spin a bearing then you may indeed need a crank and or rods. Good luck man

Well I can tell u the piston had no slop all the way down the cylinder and the rings have quite some movement, with a freshly honed cylinder,I'm positive they seated.but ur right I don't know for sure, biut I'm pretty dam sure.his car would of been slower than before the built engine if they weren't seated.I know my motor had no power for about 50 miles until the rings seated, then went 1000 break in.

Yeah I changed the oil after I swapped the head, didn't make a difference.

so I pulled the pan off tonight and the rod bearings in #3 were completely gone, top and bottom
had tons of broken pieces of crap at the bottom of my oil pan
tried new bearings and its a no go, there's still slop between the crank and rod so either the crank and/or rod is out of spec
