great gaskets, always wondered why the 2.2's got the permatorque blue and the 2.4's and LSJ's got the traditional bare MLS.

So I went out to install my clutch and flywheel and I just noticed I received no alignment tool with my KY clutch wtf!

Was really looking to get that installed and start dropping my engine back in the bay but I guess that's on hold

so I've been trying to get the car back together...

I dropped the engine in from the top but I can't get it lined up on the trans input shaft for ****. What am I missing?

Played with it for a couple hours today before I gave up

most likely the angle. are you able to rotate the motor as you push it in to line up everything?

That's another thing, its hard for me to tell if I've got the engine at the right height. I can move it a little bit but I had a hard time trying to line it up with the bolt holes on the trans

I had to drop the engine quite a bit before I was able to stab it in.i had the trans in gear so the input shaft wouldnt free spin.Took me a while to get it.

Update time!

Got my flywheel resurfaced. It was a pain tracking down a shop to do this. Nobody wanted to answer their damn phone. I guess they didn't want my money.

Probably ended up paying more than I should have since its a stepped flywheel but oh well

Brand new TOB as well

Bolted up my KY Stage 3 clutch and resurfaced flywheel

Then it was time to drop the engine in from the top. Not a ton of room to do this so it was a pain.

And FINALLY got the damn thing lined up on the trans input shaft. I actually had to do it twice because the first time I moved the engine around trying to rotate it slightly and it slipped off

Had to really play with the angles with my hoist to get it to line up but it's in so now comes the task of remembering what bolt goes where and gotta bleed the clutch and such

Does anyone have a photo of the starter wiring and where the grounds go on the drivers side?

I'm 90% sure on the starter wiring but would like confirmation that I have it right
