Well so far it's looking great, PM me with any questions as to what I've done. Was yours an LS? With no power locks or windows? I've got those parts but dreading the wiring.

Yeah I'm a LS and every thing was manual. Kinda lame but i love converting stuff from one thing to another. I actually bought the automatic window kit on eBay a couple of years ago and the motors starting going out so I started looking around for parts to swap over and that's when I went to the junk yard in Monroe NC and got a butt load of crap for 60 bucks. So I cut the pig tails off of the G5 they had there and wired it to the wiring harness eBay gave me with there kit and hooked up mine. Had to get the pigtail, window motor and regulator and new door panels with door switches, the only thing I haven't converted with the new door switches is Auto side mirrors. I didn't see any need for that since I never move them.

Yeah today was upsetting. I was down at the beach on my lunch break headed to the FAMOUS chickfila and it was raining outside and this lady pulled out in front of me on a main highway and 20ft from me and I t-boned her. She got banged up pretty bad. I got a cut on the top of my head from my golf cart mirror, BTW i would put one in your car, if you have one throw it in the trash.lol They hurt like heck. It pushed the motor back a little and melt the belt to a crisp. Supercharger looks good tho. Depending how much the ins check is will determine if i part everything out or let it ride. Cause I will be looking for another cobalt. Most likely a real SS this time.

I would think something along the lines of the SS/TC. After the sc'd 2.2 I doubt you'll be happy with the LSJ in stock trim.

Yeah I drove 2 of the lsj models. Mine felt a lot stronger than a stock one. I mean I'll get a lsj if I can't get a LNF model. But I gotta look around and see what's out there. If I can get a rental before TOTD I'll bring money with me incase someone is willing to sell there's.

LNFs are out there to be had. If you got the time to build an sc'd 2.2 looking for an LNF should be a cakewalk.

Yeah, it's sad to see all the time and money though, at one point I thought mine might be totaled and I was going to buy it back, transfer all the turbo stuff over (not on yet so it's easier and not damaged) and suspension.

That's sad. Well you put good effort on getting your base to where you got it, put the same pride in a LNF and you'll have a beast.
Just don't get a child hauler like I got after my cobalt.
