Lowering with new tires??

Hey guys, so I just finished putting on my SS body kit on my 2008 l61 sedan. Im looking to lower the car because even with the body kit it still looks like a tonka truck. When I get my taxes back Im going to purchase new tires that are going to be 235/40R18 and I wont to drop the car a few inches to give it a better look. What kind of springs should I buy and what would be the best springs for a good ride? here my car.....

Pedders have the best ride and drop the car something like .5 in front and 1" in rear on an SS/TC...

Umm I bought the front bumper off someone on this forum, the side skirts were a local buy, and the rear bumper was off of ebay. Piecing everything together and getting everything painted and fixed cost me roughly around $900 with purchasing everything and getting everything painted and repaired.

Canuck motorsports (cm) and Superior sport chassis (Ssc) are both the same springs, and are one of the best lowering springs you'll find for these cars. They ride and handle much better than eibach springs do with basically the same drop. Zz performance sells ssc springs, or you can get the cm ones on ebay. If your looking for a spring that will improve the handling even more, and ride better, then look into the Pedders springs, which turbo tech racing sells. They will give you about .75 inches less of a drop, and are a bit more expensive, but really are the best springs out there for these cars.

Thanks that helped, but Im looking to get a drop that gives me a better stance with a good ride and also being able to drive it up little hills and stuff. 2" is kind of low for me so 1.5 would be best I think
