LS4 TB with vulcan intake mani for NA

Found a decent price for a Vulcan intake mani with a LS4 TB, I plan on staying NA, but was curious what would be needed to run this other than a tune, and what could I expect from such a set up...I have the 2.4L intake mani now

I have no clue what a Vulcan intake manifold is, sheet metal intake? If it is then you'd need a tune as well as a custom intake.

If staying NA i would run the Kinsler ITB setup. Looks awesome and performs great

I wish I could afford the kinsler, it looks so damn sexy, but its so damn expensive, the intake mani is sheet metal and I can re-route my intake with no issues, I know I would need a tune for sure, figured this would be a fun build; perhaps some top end gains?

Also how what is the pinning situation like with the LS4, any real advantage over the 2.4 or LSJ TB?

I have the LS4 throttle body. You have to be real easy on the throttle and get it tuned for. I read it isn't worth the swap if you stay NA

Doubt it would be worth the effort. Still going to run into airflow restriction at the head. And the stock cams are made for that much flow.

The only reason I got a different intake mani was to keep it from exploding. No other reason

I'm assuming your built and turbo swapped. It might be beneficial to swap it over in your case.

Correct, if I was n.a I'd just run a 2.4 intake mani and tb.

For the LSJ it gains roughly 5WHP peak but over 20 WHP in the mid range. That's a decent enough gain for me.

After some reading im going with the LSJ TB w/ the ZZP adapter plate, already have the 2.4l intake mani, CAI, LSJ header and LSJ DP, with 2.5in exhuast. Going to have to get re-tuned, thinking of going to trifecta this time, what gains should I be looking at realistically with this set up? shooting for around 160 to the wheels??
