I purchased a 2007 Cobalt as a cheap commuter. Runs great but had a P0016. On further inspection the engine appears to have been replaced with a full VVT 2.2L. (Looks to be a 09-11). The camshaft/crankshaft sync CEL fault is certainly a result of the VVT cams not clocked the same since they default to full advance without signal. Rather than replace the engine or entire head, I'm looking to lockout the VVT phasers since they're not being controlled and need to clock the cam close to where the reluctor wheel on the end of the Intake Camshaft willmatch where a factory 07-08 LS1 came would be.

Can anyone share a photo of their factory 07-08 Intake Camshaft clearly showing the position of the reluctor wheel and preferably an angle that shows where it lines up with the sprocket? Thank so much in advance all!
