Overheated block, cylinder sleeve pulled out when machining

Looking for opinions here people.

Backstory: I have a 05 L61 block that overheated when the coolant bottle split and lost pressure. After replacing the bottle the motor seemed to run fine, just a little down on power. I noticed after a couple days I was getting a little coolant into the crankcase. The motor was pulled and sat for a bit while another motor went into the car. The cylinders corroded from sitting.

The motor is at the machine shop now to be bored and get forged internals. When they attempted to bore the cylinders to see if they'd clean up at .020 the sleeve pulled out of the block. He's thinking the block warped/distorted enough to loosen around the sleeve.

Anyone have that issue before? I have another motor to use if needed but would a set of Darton sleeves save this block? I wanted to have both built to have a backup motor but I can secure another motor if I can't use this one. I'll ask the builder too but I was curious if anyone had a similar issue with the sleeves pulling out. Pic attached.
