SC kit first start up. WONT START! HELP!

well i finished installing everything yesterday so i went to start it today and it turns over but wont fire.. it cranks, the belts rotate but it wont turno over. does it have anything to do with the fuel rail not having fuel in it? any ideas would really help. Thanks

by the way its not tuned but it thought i would be able to start it before its tuned.. 60# injectors and 2.8 pulley

UPDATE: car is tuned, throwing P0230 code for fuel pump.

NEWS: FML, i somethings really messed up now... i was being stupid and since the fuel pump code wouldnt clear i swapped fuses to see if it was the fuse, i swapped it with the rear defog since i never use it because i have tinted windows... my code scanner stopped working so i decided to try and start it, REALLY bad idea. the defog uses a bigger fuse,it started for just a second, just enoguh to say YES! and then a screeth sound, everything shut off. now this....

did I blow my fuel pump? is it the starter? HELP! lol
Update: re-installed tune, no codes.. something is fried tho

Arent you supossed to turn the key to the ON position and then after 10-15sec's turn it to the OFF position, a couple of times, to pressurize the fuel rail? I imagine the point is moot now since youve alreay tried to start it several times, which, should have pressurized it.

Stupid question, are you sure all the connectors to the injectors are nice and tightly connected?
Also, you should have at least a base tune for the 60's so it fires properly. I dont think it will start without the tune.

ah, u dont even wanna see it start up with out a tune.. it can throw your engine off even if it does start and risk of damaging something. Hold your horses and wait for a tune. 60s you gotta do something special for i thought cause how much bigger they are. and also make sure your spark plugs are in there good.

Yea without a tune dont turn the key. 60's are flooding the engine they have to be detuned a little.

Im not sure about not being tuned would make the car not able to start but check the fuel pump relay under the hood it may not be getting any fuel.

why does everyone do this? your not suppose to start up your car if it not tuned. especially if you got 60's cuz you just flooding your engine. and hopefully nothing will happen when you get it cranked up. thats the whole purpose of a tune so you can properly install the sc kit and injectors.

That's probably from running your water pump off of the fuel pump fuse. Are you using an add-a-fuse or did you ghetto-fab it and push the wire in?

I know I had issues when I pushed the wire in and they didn't go away until I was able to get my hands on an add-a-fuse.

Use an add-a-fuse (Advance Autoparts and Autozone sells them... O'Reilly's, for some reason does not and that's why it took me a bit of time to get one).

I didn't have issues with the fuel pump fuse since I put mine into the ignition fuse, but when I had the wire stuck in there it threw an ignition circuit malfunction as well...

Yes, it did. There's obviously something else that's wrong... pull the injector rail and see if it's getting fuel.

Hmm. Sounds like your HE wiring may have thrown off the amperage/resistance of the fuel pump circuit, why didnt you just throw it on the radio fuse?
