Strange Clunking Noise

So I've got this strange clunking noise coming from the right front of the car, say if i don't shift smoothly the car will do the typical little jerk forward and i'll hear the clunk, I also hear the clunk if I let off the gas and then press the pedal quickly it will clunk. I'm suspecting a possibly bad control arm bushing or maybe a bad motor mount? I've already replaced the left front control arm bushing but can't recall if it was making the same noise/having the same symptoms. Thanks for any advice guys.

Yes, sounds like either the trans mount, or motor mount. A control arm bushing would only get that bad over a bump, or a shitty road. Not clunking all over from rough shifting, or letting off the gas and hammering it. You're really not using the control arms room of travel to move enough by doing either of those to make it clunk.

A bad trans mount is fairly easy to spot, and is a likely candidate. Take a flashlight and give her a look!
