Cool Supercharged Build

Finally Finished up my supercharger build for my 2006 2.2L. Thanks to Vince at Trifecta for the awesome tuning!

A little info about my build:

Ported M62
Stock SS pulley size
Stock SS injectors
ZZP front mount heat exchanger
Injen cold air intake
Dual pass end plate
Extra coolant tank
SS front, rear, sides and lips

Car runs great, about 10-11psi and wot, and man does that supercharger whine! Fuel economy when driving normally is the same if not better than when the car was stock. Fuel tends to leave the tank fast at wot and having fun. Took me 2 full days from start to finish to get it all done with one friend (not including tuning).

For anybody that is gonna say "why didn't you just buy and SS?"
1- I didn't have the money when i bought the car for an SS
2- Price of the car plus everything i have done to it has costed less then buying and SS
3- Its ALOT more fun to build and do things on your own
4- Insureance is WAY cheaper for an LS than an SS!!

And of course some pics!!

Drums.. Only bad part. Not much i can do about it either without spending tons of money for something I don't really need anyway

the cheapest i've seen a kit for was 1200. you would be better off going to a junk yard and pull off the rear's from a ss/sc

you may be in luck actually

no need to justify why you have an LS btw...nice work

what all did you have to move besides the tank for the windshield reservoir?

What did you end up using belt wise 5rib vs 6 rib setups? Good job.

5 rib, the only pulley i need to use a 6 rib belt is the one for the AC. Doesn't seem like its worth the effort to try and replace it though

So is the belt ribbed on both sides like the ss.sc one?
