turbo manifold question

will the manifold from a 2.2l cavi fit a cobalt? got a buddy in town upgrading to a new turbo and hes offering me his turbo and manifold if they will bolt up, but i dont want to tear everything apart to figure out it doesnt fit. any info is helpful

We knows ours WILL (www.TurboTechRacing.com)

However, not all brands will, as members have had issues with other brands not fitting.

its the same as this one

and to TTR, id buy one from you, but if i can get one that fits for free, id rather take that route and save me 300$

no, it will not fit. Jbods have plenty of room in the back to have the mani flange straight. But on a delta, the flange has to be at an angle because it's so tight back there. Trust me, I know. I had a super clean Hahn mani with a wastegate flange welded on and everything. Turns out it was for a jbod.

That is from the 1995-2002 2.2L OHV (NON-ECOTEC) engine. It is not even the same 2.2L engine you have. Notice the ports are round... The ecotec are oval... That will not even bolt on your cylinder head....
