I have a friend that wants to sell me her T-25 turbo if i found a way to get ahold of the garrett turbo plumbing would this work? i started doing some research but i gotta run so i needed to see if i could get a quick answer...thanks guys

 

first of all, inspect the turbo and make sure there's no play in the compressor wheel. Second of all, you need a turbo manifold, if you don't have one already, that'll fit up to both your head and that turbo.

Depending on how/where the turbo fits when it's installed the garrett plumbing might or might not fit.

Your best bet is just to buy the whole kit unless you plan on building the kit peice by peice.

 

i know the turbo is good and i already have the manifold but you know now that i think about it more i dnno if there will be enough room to fit it...eh

x2 on the pics, i also have a friend that has turbo manifodl for the 2.2. he used it on hi last setup, but now he has the hahn manifold(he has a j-body, 2.2 eco), i think its a external wastegate one, i was gunna buy it off him, but boost it to much trouble for me to do DIY
