Right now i have a CAI and catback. Im ordering a new header/dp in a few weeks. Im wondering if the 2.4 tb gives us any gains. Of course if i get it ill be doing the trifecta tune. So my ?'s. Will the 2.4 tb give me any gain? How many pins should the one i get have since i have an 09. and where would i get one?

 

our tb's. if my memory serves me correctly, are the same size as the 2.4/ I'd look into a pnp. that;s what I did with my tb and I love it. a little deeper tone and you"ll lower your power band. not a huge gain but enough to help. especially if you're doing it on your own like i did. I'll post my thread so you can see what I did. there's plenty of things to do for cheap on our cars.

 

2.2 tb is smaller than 2.4 tb

 

the intake manifold is the same...not the throttle body

i would not worry about buying a 2.4 TB since you will see LITTLE gain

 

damn, eh o well.. guess ill look elsewhere for some extra horses.

sounds like it is....and once you get the dp/header then get a tune unless you plan on cams or something
